Getting to The Root of the Problem - Tooth Saved by Myrrh
"In Dec 2008 whilst in Dubai I suffered the most excruciating tooth pain I have ever experienced. It was so bad that I spent hundreds of pounds purchasing privately all manner of pain relieving drugs and to try and alleviate the problem. I did not want to go to a Dentist as I had no way of guaranteeing their expertise. Upon return to the UK I had an immediate emergency appointment with my own Dentist, this being only a couple of days before Christmas. He diagnosed that I needed a full root canal filling as there was considerable infection in the tooth. My dentist managed to complete the entire job in one session and suggested a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks. On inspection on that appointment he was dismayed to see that an abscess had formed in the gum and that he was almost sure it would result in the loss of the tooth. He prescribed a course of antibiotics to see if this would cure the problem, but I found that taking these seemed to have little effect. I spoke to Hannah who has treated me in the past but by then lived some distance away. She suggested that I obtain some Myrrh from a local herbal medicine clinic, make it into a paste and massage it into the gum as often as possible. This I did and within two days or so the swelling went down and over the period of a week of applying the Myrrh eventually the swelling disappeared. The only drawback was the taste of the Myrrh but when weighed against the possible loss of the tooth was a small price to pay. When I went back to my own Dentist he was totally amazed at the result as he had no real expectation that the tooth could be saved by the use of the antibiotics but felt it was worth a try. He made notes regarding the use of Myrrh and asked where he could obtain it. As far as I’m concerned my tooth would have been lost had I not used Myrrh and it was interesting that the there was pain relief experienced at the time of using it as it seemed to have a considerable numbing effect as well".

"When Hannah mapped out a course of treatment I felt that I had nothing to lose. Over 18 months all other roads through my GP and skin specialists (creams, steroids etc) had proved ineffective whilst the condition of the soles of both of my feet had deteriorated. What had first appeared as mild athletes foot had quickly turned out to be fully blown psoriasis which I was starting to think might be a permanently debilitating condition seriously affecting my quality of life. Lifting the Burden of Chronic Shoulder Pain
